Part of my assistantship at my university involves helping out at a computer lab called the NWR (Networked Writing and Research), and not surprisingly I’ve developed a bit of a reputation for my doodles and sketches. On one memorable occasion, I was attaching post-it doodles on specific computers to indicate that a particular software had been installed. They were mostly puns and throw away gags, just something to entertain myself while I was waiting for the program to finish and when I was done, I left them there.
Imagine my surprise when everyone started telling me how much they enjoyed the sketches. People mentioned it when they walked into the lab. They stopped me in hallways. I was floored. Of all the things I’ve done while working at the NWR, I didn’t think a collection of quick, sloppy drawings would earn me so much attention. And just recently, I was asked to do it again.
So here’s the start of them. I’ve decided to draw up quick pictures of fantasy creatures you might encounter in a roleplaying game. So far I have a rat-creature thief and a rotting mummy. What should I draw next?

How about some kind of beholder beast thing?
Good idea! That will be the next one I do.
