After a recent discussion with the fam, I started wondering what creature, entity, person, critter, would best exemplify the Interwebs in mascot form. In my personal opinion, there are a number of good candidates.
1. Cthulhu - eldritch horror from beyond, he sleeps, dreaming, in the sunken city of R'yleh... or on your nightstand in plushie form.
2. Ninjas - They're flipping out, intensely dangerous as individuals, hopelessly doomed in groups.
3. Pirates - Are so well loved that an entire holiday has been started and devoted to talking like them. Yarrrrr.
4. Grays - These pesky aliens are a distant runner to be sure, but they have all the right qualities. Science-fictiony, avid technology proponents, and they kidnap cows and country bumpkins.
5. LOLCats - Can we haz a vote plz?
6. Have I missed something?
