I opened my big mouth (figuratively speaking) and made a jape about it being a winter without snow. Well, the Immortal Jove heard my cries and plopped down a good 4 to 7 inches in the Chicagoland area. I’m sure many of you in the colder states are experiencing similar unpleasantness.
I don’t know if I should be pleased that I slipped the comic in before it would have been irrelevant or upset that the universe is more than willing to put my complaints to rest.
It may very well be the beginning of the end; I’ve actually updated after all this time!
As many of my readers (you two in the back) know, it’s challenging for me to balance time between my professional life (academia, teaching, whatnot) and my comic (something that unfortunately has always been more hobby than career). But hope springs eternal when the new year ticks over. I’ve decided to see how far I can take it.
I’d personally like to thank everyone who’s linked to me during the interim. I’ve also received some very kind comments, which I’m thankful for. However big or small my readership, you guys have always been wonderful. So you have my profound gratitude.
You’ll notice that I’ve altered the size of the comic. I wanted the dimensions to be more akin to a newspaper strip that the previous, “this seems like an ok thing” size. I’ve also played with the bubble tails a little bit. Small things, but changes I’m happy about.
So let’s see where this new year takes us!
